Mini and Junior Masterchef 2017
En Route was once again a proud sponsor of the Mini and Junior Masterchef cooking competition, for pupils from schools in the surrounding area of Windsor, UK.
The annual competitions are run by Learning to Work, a local charity, which works with young people to give them experience and open up future opportunities. The Mini Masterchef pupils were challenged with the task of creating healthy lunches, and our Junior Masterchef’s designed a healthy 3 course meal.
As well as showing off their cooking skills, the students were able to give their dishes a creative flair, and all presented them beautifully. Chocolate covered strawberries and freshly cooked crab cakes are just two examples of the fantastic food that was created.
Members from En Route’s NPD team attended the competitions as judges, and expressed the high quality of food that was produced. All pupils who took part were given gifts including a digital bowl scale and a Masterchef award.
A huge well done to all the pupils who took part in this year’s competition and especially to the winners:
Mini Masterchef – Queen Anne Royal Free First School
Junior Masterchef – St. Edward’s Middle School and Sandhurst School
