Job purpose

Reporting to the CRM & Programme Delivery Manager, the CRM and Commercial Analyst will be responsible for the formalization and ongoing maintenance of tools and processes to support the Stagegate Project Programme from Sales Identification funnel to Project Delivery (75% Dedicated time). The role also offers the opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director to assist with Strategic projects supporting the growth of the business in order to deliver the short, mid and long term vision (25% dedicated time).


Key responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of pipeline trends, closed business, sales activities and sales opportunities through CRM

  • Operate a monthly pipeline forecasting tool (ISPT) based on secured projects, start dates and project turnover, which can be used as an outlook for the wider business

  • Generate regular CRM data reports to assist the Commercial team in driving strategic initiatives.

  • Maximise user’s consumption of sales reports and dashboards from CRM

  • Conduct CRM data reviews to identify areas for improvement, errors in data entry, duplication, and problems in usability.

  • Maintain clean data within CRM and ensure data is up to date on major opportunities

  • Monitor KPI and KAI activity of all Account Managers using developed CRM reports and create corrective action plans where necessary

  • Conduct training for all commercial departments in order to synchronize CRM processes supported by standard operating procedures

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the KF Sell platform into CRM and ensure timely completion of BlueSheets and formalized commercial activities to drive active opportunity management

  • Support the identification ofsuitable opportunities for system improvements to enable the tracking and effective management of project activity

  • Maintainproject files and process documentation as part of the Project Room approach

  • Ensure consistency of standard templates for each department

  • Promote use and maintain updates of‘activity’ board and ‘communication’ board to support the Stagegate process

  • Conduct training for new starters on all aspects of the Stagegate project programme

  • Drive value using the Miller HeimannAccount Management process throughout the commercial team to include embedding of procedures and coaching of the team

  • Maintain the overall mission map for ER –providing regular updates, co-ordinating progress reviews and deadline reviews with the key pillar and task stakeholders across the organization

  • Support preparation of Board Meeting documentation combining departmental updates for presentation

  • Carry out ad-hoc analysis to support strategic opportunities and short to long term business plans

Person Specification Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Extremely well organised

  • Ability to prioritise workload, multi task and work to deadlines

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills, ability to gather and analyse information

  • Useful to have an understanding of World Class Manufacturing/continuous improvement/project mgt Concept/Philosophy and the application of relevant tools and methods

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in response to changing requirements and quickly adapt to changing priorities, activities, and deadlines

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail. Specific aptitudes / skills

  • Strong IT skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • CRM – either Salesforce or MSD

  • Navision or ERP experience

  • Understanding of PowerBI

  • Strong analytical skills
